Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District was the recipient of a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation to establish a permanent outdoor exhibition in the south visitor area at the San Francisco end of the Bridge.

Exhibits explain the engineering, construction, and history of the Bridge, providing the public
opportunities to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
