Senior Designer and Associate, Emily Morishita presented the Downtown Napa signage plan to the City Council on August 20. After much discussion, the sign program concept was unanimously approved by the Council. Reclaimed wood, painted metalwork, corrugated metal and textured concrete reflect the history and natural materials of the vibrant Downtown, Oxbow and Riverfront districts nestled in the Napa Valley region. The program addresses district gateways, vehicular, pedestrian and parking signage, and will direct visitors to key visitor attractions, cultural and entertainment facilities, retail centers, public facilities and parks.
