Beautiful multi-use Oso Creek Trail and Salt Creek Trail have been completed in Laguna Niguel. And both feature trailheads and interpretive signage by Hunt Design. The mile-long Oso Creek route connects to the regional trail system and includes a permeable bikeway, walking/jogging trail and rich landscaping. Signage design completes the picture.
The first phase of a city-wide wayfinding program in Walnut Creek, California is in production. After months of planning and public review the parking direction portion of the 200-sign Hunt Design project is coming off the production line at United Sign Systems in Modesto, California.
Once again Pasadena’s Playhouse District celebrates the holidays with engaging banners designed by Hunt Design. The unique triangular banners, featuring high-tech foil printing, can seen all along Colorado Boulevard.
You know from the balloons that it’s either a birthday party or a mattress sale. Pasadena boasts four mattress stores in just two blocks — no wonder they are duking it out with illegal sidewalk marketing signs.

Interesting and effective trail signage in the Cloud Forest high in the Andes in Ecuador. Adding a touch of Times Square vibe, many of New York’s century-old street vending carts now feature animated LED signage. Its not Christo wrapping the Reichstag, but the large colorful wrappings deployed by exterminators could double as public installation art. These graphic tents not only enliven and decorate a sleepy street, they signal either that a house is in escrow or someone is fixing a bad problem.
