Working with the National Park Service, Hunt Design is developing a series of unique tactile/topographic maps for Saratoga National Historical Park in upstate New York. To refine and evaluate the design, Hunt staff used modeling clay and paint to simulate a bronze casting. Next year twenty-two bronze wayfinding maps and a dozen cast topographic displays will help visitors to this historic site understand key facts about the intense 1777 battles the were the turning point in the Revolutionary War.
