El Monte Comprehensive Health Center, part of the LA County Department of Health Services, received newly installed wayfinding signs in July, becoming the last of seven such facilities in the County to get its signage updated with the new standards designed by Hunt. In order to reduce confusion among patients, the new bilingual wayfinding system for the uses standardized language to label departments across all facilities. In addition, the program emphasizes a numeric-based wayfinding approach to help reduce the need for long department names on every sign.
