Hunt Design is pleased to be teamed with the prestigious firm Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects of Charlottesville, Virginia to develop signage guidelines as part of a master plan for this well-known sprawling park. Covering over 1500 acres, Houston Memorial Park is one of the largest urban parks in the US. The popular park has over two million annual visitors and dozens of amenities and internal destinations. “Each visitor needs wayfinding tools and information about the many destinations and offerings,” says firm principal Wayne Hunt. “There is a rich park history to illuminate through interpretive signage. And it’s great to be part of such a strong design team.”
