A sleek wayfinding program with 75+ signs guides visitors through Hollywood’s iconic attractions, blending vehicular and pedestrian directions, with approvals from major stakeholders.
The Hollywood Wayfinding project involved designing a branded wayfinding program to guide visitors through the vibrant and iconic attractions of Hollywood, California. The program incorporated over 75 uniquely crafted sign elements, each tailored to blend functionality with the area’s distinctive character. The project required extensive collaboration and approvals from key stakeholders, including Caltrans, Metro, Los Angeles DOT, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and community interests. Vehicular signage was strategically designed to direct drivers to parking areas, while pedestrian signs provided detailed directions to specific attractions, enhancing both traffic flow and visitor experience.
