The Cal State Long Beach parking signage program was a comprehensive initiative designed to enhance navigation across the campus’s extensive parking facilities. With over a thousand individual signage elements, the program included the renaming of parking lots and structures to make wayfinding more intuitive for students, staff, and visitors. As part of a larger campus signage master plan developed by Hunt Design, the parking signage was carefully integrated into the university’s broader vision, with future phases planned for full implementation. The design also supports the university’s green initiatives, incorporating eco-friendly graphics and materials. This thoughtful program improves accessibility and ease of movement while aligning with Cal State Long Beach’s commitment to sustainability and long-term campus planning.
