Hunt Design recently completed a campus-wide signage and donor recognition program for the ever-growing Villa Esperanza School, designed by Gonzalez Goodale Architects in Pasadena. Villa’s School offers an educational program serving students
from 5-22 years old who have special needs associated with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Villa Esperanza Services has remained true to its mission of providing love, care, and hope for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Phase 1 construction included seven classrooms for Villa’s School designed for one-on-one study areas, and beautifully landscaped gardens serve as restful retreats for clients and staff. Children and teens play and enjoy free time in new outdoor recreational areas.
Donors are recognized with stainless steel, pin-mounted letters and colorful plaques throughout the campus. The full list of donors is displayed in a set of playful circles with vibrant colors and textured surfaces. Villa students began their school year in their new classrooms, and we’re looking forward to the next phase of development and construction with this incredibly passionate and loving client.
