Hunt Design worked closely with the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to complete an exterior signage and wayfinding program. The overhaul of the signage program coincided with the Museum’s extensive Centennial renovation project including access to the main entrance, a new outdoor pavilion, and backyard educational space. Wayfinding signs link visitors through these renovated spaces, galleries, and other underutilized outdoor areas. Careful consideration was given to the site’s historic building set within a woodland landscape environment. The design featured key images to help identify and highlight gallery entrances.
