Hunt Design developed a comprehensive campus-wide signage program for the $20 million expansion of the Pasadena Humane Society’s Animal Care Center.
The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA project included the design and implementation of a campus-wide signage and donor recognition program as part of a $20 million expansion of the Animal Care Center in Pasadena, California. The plan featured innovative illustrative animal cut-outs that combined donor recognition with functional wayfinding, to help integrate signage into the campus’s aesthetic. Creative donor recognition walls celebrated the contributions of benefactors while honoring the pets they supported, adding a personal and engaging touch. An updatable donor wall was designed with interwoven brushed aluminum bands, allowing flexibility to accommodate future contributions. The thoughtful planning harmonized utility, creativity, and appreciation, enhancing the visitor experience while celebrating the organization’s mission and community support.
