The Museum’s renovation features a signage program that guides visitors to hidden outdoor gems, blending seamlessly with the historic building and woodland landscape.

During the Museum’s extensive renovation project, a comprehensive signage overhaul was meticulously designed and planned to enhance visitor navigation and experience. The new directional signage strategically guides guests to previously underutilized outdoor areas, encouraging exploration beyond the main exhibits. The signage program is thoughtfully crafted to complement the site’s historic architecture and the surrounding woodland landscape, blending seamlessly with the natural and built environments. Close coordination with the landscape and architectural teams ensured that the signage integrated harmoniously with the overall renovation design. Additionally, specialized trail signage was developed to assist visitors in navigating the Museum’s expansive woodland areas, promoting greater engagement with the outdoor spaces while maintaining aesthetic consistency throughout the site.
